External drivers
- New revenue through better exploitation of data
- New relationships with 3rd party aggregators to supply data
- Keeping pace with cyber-security and information governance law
- is there external funding to support this activity as research
- can we steal a march on our competitors
Internal
- Doing more with less
- Getting rid of data we don't need
Some questions
- Is your organisational structure and infrastructure flexible enough to cope with new roles
- Do you have internal capacity to provide Training and/or retain specialist staff
- What are the effective limits of collaboration for your organisation? Where are you on the collaboration continuum
